MSI GTX 980 Ti Lightning 6GB Review

For 2560×1440 testing, we opted for Battlefield 4's Ultra preset. When testing with the demanding 4K resolution, we opted for Battlefield 4's High IQ preset in order to make playable frame rates a greater possibility. Our frame rates are recorded using a section of the game.

Performance at both 1440p and 4K is superb – topping the charts, alongside the eVGA GTX980 Ti Classified. AMD's R9 295X2 is still the performance king, although it is a dual GPU solution.

  1. You would think that this GPU would perform better than the rest on the market, but my Asus GTX980-Ti-OC-STRIX-6GB perform even under Air much better than the Lightning.
