Zotac lists RTX 3070 Ti graphics card based on a GA102 GPU

A few days ago, we heard rumours that Nvidia would launch new RTX 30 series SKUs. Since then, we've already seen confirmation of the RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X and the RTX 3060 8GB. The only one left to be confirmed is the RTX 3070 Ti with a GA102 GPU, which Zotac has now listed on its Chinese website.

VideoCardz was the first to share the news about the RTX 3070 Ti graphics card based on a GA102-150 GPU. Listed on Zotac's Chinese website, the new RTX 3070Ti-8G6X Apocalypse GOC shares the same design as the previous RTX 3070 Ti using the GA104 GPU.

There were also reports that there would be an RTX 3070 Ti with 16GB of VRAM, but after seeing the spec sheet of this card, we can safely conclude this isn't the one. Despite the change in the GPU, the specs remain unchanged. That means you get 6,144 CUDA cores with a base clock of 1,575MHz and a boost clock of 1,800MHz. As for the memory subsystem, it features 8GB of GDDR6X memory running at 19Gbps.

This particular card has a rated power consumption of 320W, slightly more than other RTX 3070 Ti cards. At such TDP, it's on par with the reference design for the RTX 3080 card. However, that's not surprising, considering it packs the same GPU.

KitGuru says: Would you prefer an RTX 3070 Ti graphics card with a GA104-400 or with a GA102-150 GPU?
