Unannounced RTX 30 refresh GPUs and RX 6500 XT appear in EEC listings

Recent rumours have suggested that we are going to see refreshed versions of the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 Ti with more VRAM in early 2022, and AMD is rumoured to be launching its entry-level RX 6000 GPUs in a similar timeframe. Now, signs are pointing towards this being true, with Gigabyte listing several of these unannounced graphics cards on the EEC database.

The EEC listing found by @momomo_us shows Gigabyte is planning to launch a good number of RTX 3080 12GB and RTX 3070 Ti 16GB graphics cards, as well as a few RX 6500 XT SKUs. All three of these graphics cards are expected to be announced in January, presumably during CES 2022.

The RTX 3080 12GB cards will be available across all Gigabyte GPU series, including the Aorus Xtreme and Master, Gaming, Vision, Eagle and Mini ITX. The listings suggest we'll also see Aorus Master, Gaming, Vision and Eagle versions of the RTX 3070 Ti 16GB.

The EEC listing doesn't allow us to confirm most of the SKUs' specifications, but at least it shows the amount of VRAM each will feature. As the name implies, the Nvidia RTX 3080 card will come with 12GB and the RTX 3070 Ti with 16GB. The Radeon RX 6500 XT seems to feature 4GB of VRAM.

KitGuru says: With only 4GB of VRAM, there is hope that cryptominers will have little interest in the RX 6500 XT, which should translate to better availability for gamers.
