Unannounced Radeon RX 6600 LE graphics card launches in Lenovo PCs

A Radeon RX 6600 LE graphics card has recently been discovered in the Lenovo Geek Pro 2023 prebuilt system. These systems are currently available in China and are equipped with an Intel Core i5-13400F CPU series and an AMD RX 6600 LE GPU. The meaning of “LE” is still unclear.

ITHome (via VideoCardz) spotted the graphics card on a listing of the new Lenovo prebuilt system over at JD. According to Lenovo, the Radeon RX 6600 LE has 1,792 stream processors, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, and a clock speed of 2495MHz. That's basically the same as the original RX 6600. The only noticeable difference is a 4MHz higher boost clock than the RX 6600, which has a 2491MHz frequency.

However, it's expected that there might be some minor changes to the base and game clocks or the TDP. The original 132W model featured a single-fan design in the AMD standard edition, but Lenovo may have requested AMD to provide extra power as a default. Alternatively, the graphics card might use a different GPU, such as Navi 22, with reduced specs. Such releases are pretty common in China.

The Radeon RX 6600 LE graphics card is currently available with the Lenovo GeekPro 2023 system, which starts at 4,799 RMB ($671/£536). As of now, we don't know what “LE” stands for, but something like “Lenovo”, “Lite”, or “Limited Edition” seems the most likely.
