Picture of alleged AMD Navi 32 GPU shows four MCD dies

A video interview with Lisa Su that included some b-roll footage might have shown more than intended. As noted by a Twitter user, someone has filmed what seems to be a Navi 32 GPU on a table alongside various chips.

AMD's RDNA3 architecture includes three graphics cards: Navi 31, Navi 32, and Navi 33. Navi 31  has already been released in the Radeon RX 7900 series for high-end desktops, while Navi 33 recently made its debut in the form of the Radeon RX 7600 graphics card for laptops and desktops.

There has been speculation about the Navi 32 appearing later this year, but AMD has never officially acknowledged working on such a design. However, @AnhPhuH (via VideoCardz) spotted the Navi 32 chip in a Forbes video, sitting alongside new Genoa, Raphael, and Raphael X3D dies.

In the screenshot above, we can clearly see the GPU has four memory stacks (Infinity Cache) surrounding an undisclosed die. Measurements suggest that the size of the graphics die (GDC) in the centre is around 200 mm². As for the full GPU with four MCD dies, it measures approximately 350 mm², aligning with previous rumours.

According to the latest information, the Navi 32 GPU will feature up to 60 CUs (3840 stream processors) and a 256-bit memory bus. This GPU is expected to be used by AMD for the Radeon RX 7800 series.
