Nvidia and AMD graphics card prices declined again this month

As June approaches, graphics cards are becoming cheaper by the week. Since the last price analysis shared, Nvidia graphics card prices have been reduced by six percentage points, and AMD graphics card prices have decreased by five percentage points compared to the previous month.

The latest 3DCenter European GPU market analysis shows that the downward price trend has continued in May. Currently, the average Nvidia graphics card is being sold for 7% over its MSRP, while AMD cards are just 2% above MSRP. However, some models, like the Radeon RX 6800, are still being sold for 35% more than they should.

In Nvidia's line-up, the RTX 3090, RTX 3090 Ti, and RTX 3080 Ti are the only models that you can buy at their recommended price or below. As for the rest of the RTX 30 series, they're available for up to 20% over MSRP, depending on the SKU.

On AMD's side, prices are overall closer to MSRP. Besides the Radeon RX 6×50 XT cards, the RX 6900 XT, RX 6700 XT, RX 6600 series, RX 6500 XT, and RX 6400 are all available at the recommended price or below it. RX 6500 XT cards, in particular, can be obtained for 19% less than their suggested price.
