MSI issues statement regarding RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics cards BIOS

Unfortunately, the MSI RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card didn't launch on the best terms. As reported by various outlets and confirmed by MSI itself, these cards hit the shelves with a BIOS that wasn't optimal, negatively affecting their performance. Since then, MSI has released updates to the BIOS of its RTX 4070 Ti Super cards.

As noted by MSI, their “R&D department discovered that [its] new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16G Ventus 3X graphics card does not deliver its full potential”. After MSI found the issue, the company started working on a fix so the card could deliver its expected performance. We already tested the new BIOS (95.03.45.40.F0), and compared to the older one (95.03.45.40.58), and we only saw a very minor difference in performance. Still, free performance is always good, even if it should be there in the first place.

Besides the RTX 4070 Ti Super Ventus 3X, MSI also released new BIOS for other cards. The table below specifies which ones and the respective link to download the latest BIOS:
