Intel Arc Alchemist GPU shown matching RTX 3070 Ti in SiSoft Sandra

We all want to know exactly how well Intel's Arc Alchemist GPUs will perform, but right now the company is keeping its cards close to its chest. Still, rumours have suggested the Arc Alchemist SKU with 512 EUs will be roughly on par with the RTX 3070 Ti, and according to a leaked SiSoftware Sandra result, that appears to be accurate.

The SiSoftware entry found by @TUM_APISAK (via VideoCardz) is not expected to be indicative of the GPU's true performance, as it was likely using an early graphics driver. Still, its results are roughly on the same level as an RTX 3070 Ti. The entry also confirms that the card has 4096 streaming processors and can clock up to 2.1GHz.

In addition, we can see this particular card comes with 12.8GB of memory, which is likely to actually 16GB of GDDR6, across a 256-bit memory bus. Memory speed for GDDR6 is typically 16Gbps, but 18Gbps is also a possibility.

Comparing the Intel card with the RTX 3070 Ti scores shared by @TUM_APISAK, the former seems to lack both half-float GP and single-float GP performance. However, the general score, double-float GP and quad-float GP of Intel's card outperformed the RTX 3070 Ti.

KitGuru says: It's still very early days for Intel's dGPUs, but the initial results are positive. Hopefully this translates into competitive real-world gaming performance.
