AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT might be launching in May

So far, AMD has only released its highest-end RX 7000 series GPUs. We may finally see a new mid-range graphics card from AMD soon though. According to reports, AMD recently informed board partners about the launch schedule for its upcoming RX 7600 XT graphics card.

According to Moore's Law Is Dead, board partners are expected to start sampling the RX 7600 XT to press and influencers starting on May 15th. The first reviews for MSRP-priced cards will apparently go live on the 24th of May, with more expensive models to be reviewed after that date. It is currently unknown if AMD has plans to release its own reference-design RX 7600 XT.

The Radeon RX 7600 XT is rumoured to be powered by a Navi 33 GPU with 32 CUs (or less) with a boost clock of around 2.6GHz. The memory subsystem may consist of 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit memory bus. As for the power specs, the TBP is rumoured to be around 175W, so expect to see single 8-pin PCIe power connectors on these cards.

KitGuru says: If these reports are accurate, we won't have to wait much longer before we see the first performance results of this card. Expect to see a few benchmark results showing up online before the review embargo arrives.
