AMD Radeon RX 7000 GPUs spotted on Seasonic Wattage Calculator

Seasonic's website features a helpful wattage calculator to check how much power you'll need for a given system. This type of tool usually lists available components, but users recently spotted a few unreleased GPUs listed on the calculator, including three RX 7000 series cards.

As first spotted by SkyJuice (via VideoCardz), the Seasonic wattage calculator has been updated with listings for the RX 7900 XT, RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT. However, it is worth noting that the source of the information is unclear – these listings could just be placeholders in anticipation for AMD's next-gen graphics launch, rather than listings based on early or privileged information.

Currently, the wattage calculator recommends a 650W PSU for the RX 7700 XT and a 750W+ PSU for the RX 7800 XT and the RX 7900 XT. If you are using a higher-TDP CPU with the RX 7900 XT, like a high-end Ryzen 7 or Ryzen 9 processor, then you'll want to bump up to an 850W PSU.

Strangely enough, the recommendations are very close to the current-gen RX 6000 GPUs, which could be another sign that these listings are indeed placeholders.

KitGuru says: AMD should confirm and launch the first RX 7000 series GPUs later this year. Not only that, but a new generation of Ryzen processors is also on the way.
