AMD Radeon RX 6600 leak suggests mid-October launch

A massive leak on AMD's mid-range Radeon RX 6600 graphics card has just been published, confirming its specifications, embargo dates and hinting at when we will see it hitting the shelves.

The leak comes from VideoCardz, which got access to embargoed information on the upcoming Radeon RX 66000 and a table listing its specifications alongside other Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs. Targeted at 1080p gaming, the Radeon RX 6600 will feature a Navi 23 GPU with 1792 stream processors, 32MB of Infinity Cache and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Contrary to rumours, no 4GB or 6GB variant was listed on the table.

AMD should start sending samples to its board partners on September 29th. On the 13th of October, AMD seemingly plans to lift the embargo on some of this information, and board partners can begin announcing their custom-cooled solutions.

Usually, this type of product releases soon after reviews go live, however, a specific date is not mentioned. We would assume that the GPU will be available within one week of reviews going live in mid October.
