Sapphire RX 7700 XT Pure Frostpunk 2 Edition Review

We take our noise measurements with the sound meter positioned 1 foot from the graphics card. I measured the noise floor to be 32dBA, thus anything above this level can be attributed to the graphics cards. The power supply is passive for the entire power output range we tested all graphics cards in, while all CPU and system fans were disabled. A reading under load comes from running Cyberpunk 2077 for 30 minutes.

As mentioned, the Sapphire Frostpunk 2 card actually operated with slightly slower fan speeds than the regular Pure model, hitting 19%, or 930rpm fan speed – compared to 25%/1020rpm for the Pure. It's a very small difference but just enough to lower noise levels slightly, making this one of the quietest cards we have ever tested.
