RX 7700 XT Revisit – ft. Gigabyte, PowerColor & Sapphire

We take our noise measurements with the sound meter positioned 1 foot from the graphics card. I measured the noise floor to be 32dBA, thus anything above this level can be attributed to the graphics cards. The power supply is passive for the entire power output range we tested all graphics cards in, while all CPU and system fans were disabled. A reading under load comes from running Cyberpunk 2077 for 30 minutes.

You might notice a trend emerging! Noise levels for all three cards are very low. In fact, the loudest reading we saw was from the Gaming OC (OC BIOS), and even that was just 34dBa. The rest of the cards are functionally silent, especially the Hellhound. Interestingly, that card only ran the fans at 500rpm on both OC and Silent BIOS, which is the minimum fan speed achievable for that model! It is highly impressive stuff.
