Palit RTX 2060 SUPER JetStream 8GB Review

For our temperature testing, we measure the peak GPU core temperature under load, as well as the GPU temperature with the card idling on the desktop. A reading under load comes from running the 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra stress test 20 times. An idle reading comes after leaving the system on the Windows desktop for 30 minutes.

Thermal performance is very good for the Palit JetStream, particularly in BIOS 1 where the GPU peaked at 64C. BIOS 2 saw this rise by 4C, while idle temperatures are also much higher due to the fan-stop mode which is only enabled on this secondary BIOS.

These thermal images were taken using BIOS 1, and there's no areas of concern for the card. The hot spot on the rear is directly behind the GPU core, as expected, but this didn't exceed 62C which is still a great result.
