Nvidia RTX 4080 Super Review

For our manual overclocking tests, we used MSI Afterburner. Our best results are as below.

The Nvidia Founders Edition features a maximum power limit of 355W, so we maximised the power limit and added 185MHz to the GPU and 1200MHz to the memory.

This brought the card's average clock speed up to 2925MHz as measured in our 30-minute stress test.

Real-world gains of this overclock varied from 3-8% in the title we re-tested, so it's very similar to other Ada Lovelace GPUs – it's fine but not exactly a game changer.

Power draw also rose when overclocked, up from 304W stock to 312W overclocked, though that's a trivial difference in the grand scheme of things.
