Nvidia RTX 2070 SUPER Founders Edition 8GB Review

We used MSI Afterburner to overclock the 2070 SUPER. Our best result came with +135MHz to the GPU core, and +900MHz to the memory. I did have +150MHz stable on the GPU core, but Time Spy showed noticeable artificating so I pulled things back slightly.

Average clock speed under load

This overclock took our clock speed beyond 2GHz, averaging 2007MHz in our 3DMark testing.

3DMark and games

This brought decent gains in our 1440p game testing – our overclocked 2070 SUPER was now effectively matching, and in some case beating, the RTX 2080 for performance. Our Fire Strike score also improved by over 2000 points, so overall a very decent overclock.
