Here we present frame rate figures for each graphics card, averaged across all 12 games on test today. These figures can disguise significant variations in performance from game to game, but provide a useful overview of the sort of performance you can expect at each resolution tested.
Across the twelve games tested, the RTX 5070 Ti delivered an average frame rate of 95fps at 1440p, and that makes it 9% faster than the RTX 4070 Ti Super, while it's also 5% ahead of the RX 7900 XT. Versus the RTX 4080 Super, it's 6% slower, while it's also 8% behind the RX 7900 XTX. For those who picked up a mid-range 30 series GPU and are thinking of upgrading, the 5070 Ti delivers a 79% uplift over the 3070 Ti.
As we've seen from the other two Blackwell GPUs so far, the RTX 5070 Ti does scale best at 4K. This time it comes in 12% faster than the 4070 Ti Super, while it's now 7% faster than the RX 7900 XT and just 5% slower than the 4080 Super. The gains over the 3070 Ti also increase to 86%.
Here we take a closer look at the uplift over the 4070 Ti Super – the last 40 series GPU released in this price bracket. At 1440p, the 5070 Ti is 6-13% faster over the twelve games tested.
As mentioned, those margins do tend to increase at 4K, this time with gains ranging from 6-20%, though all but one of the titles tested delivering at least a 10% uplift.
