Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the twelfth major installment and the twenty-second release in the Assassin's Creed series, and a successor to the 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The game was released on November 10, 2020, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Stadia, while the PlayStation 5 version was released on November 12. Our first game benchmark of the day is Assassin's Creed Valhalla, with the RX 7800 XT managing over 100FPS at 1440p. That puts it 5% ahead of the RTX 4070, while it's 6% faster than its predecessor by name, the RX 6800 XT.
Up at 4K, it's still a very playable experience offering 62FPS on average, while it retains a 5% advantage over the RTX 4070. In fact, it's only 12% slower than the RTX 4070 Ti, not bad at all considering the Radeon GPU is about £300 cheaper.
