Hot demand for XFX HD6850: sold out at £133

It would be hard to miss the launch today of the AMD HD6850 and HD6870. You will probably have already read our reviews of several of the partner cards. If you haven't then check out the front page of KitGuru.

Scan have been working with XFX on competitive pricing for their HD6850 card and right now it is retailing for £133.57 inc vat.

£133 inc vat, but already sold out

We have been receiving emails this morning complaining that our link to Scan shows a ‘preorder', with hints of a ‘paper launch'. After speaking with XFX it appears that they have already sold out and more stock is coming into the UK channel.

XFX has assured us that they can satisfy demand and that this is not a limited offer. They've told KitGuru that customer products will be shipped on a ‘first ordered, first shipped' basis – so you should place advanced orders now.

KitGuru says: If you want one of these soon, get your preorder in.
