AMD’s Huddy takes questions on Mantle from the OcUK Forum

One of the largest and most technical forums in the world, the Overclockers.co.uk crew are never short of questions. When they had the chance to grill AMD's Chief Gaming Scientist, they took to the task of grilling him with relish.

In this video, Huddy takes to the hot seat to answer some direct questions about a slimmer API and what will happen to it when DX12 arrives.

  1. Kudos Richard for your open honesty and that is a very good thing in my book. Much better than the first part and direct answering with no BS.

I had two Sapphire 1Gb OC HD7770 graphics cards, and could not even run the three latest LEGO games with them singularly nor in Crossfire; no matter which drivers I used on my Haswell i5 RoG gaming rig.
    So,
I bought two 3Gb ASUS R9 280`s, and the darn LEGO games still dont work.

At least All my other LEGO and other games work, and all other games on Steam and Origin, etc; including BF4 on Ultra everything, & STEAMs version of; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. What a game that is; lovely.

    Laughing….

Darned LEGO scabby coders; nearly gave AMD a bad name..
