Intel 10th Gen desktop CPUs arrive in the UK

Two weeks ago, Intel officially announced its 10th generation Core processors for desktop PCs, with a 10-core, 20-thread Core i9-10900K sitting at the top of the pile. We've already had a good look at specs and even the Z490 motherboards coming alongside these new CPUs. Now today, we get to take a look at UK pricing, with pre-orders going live at retail.

If you need a refresher on each SKU, clock speeds, core/thread counts and other specs, you can find our full 10th Gen desktop CPU rundown, HERE. You can also find our Z490 motherboard preview, HERE.

If you are already convinced and looking to buy, then Overclockers UK has you covered. The Core i9-10900K is the most expensive of the bunch, available to pre-order for £529.99. Meanwhile, the 8-core, 16-thread Core i7-10700K is £419.99. Finally, the 6-core, 12-thread Core i5-10600K is £274.99.

You can save some money by picking up an OEM version of the CPU instead, which comes in blank packaging, rather than Intel's own box. For an OEM Core i9-10900K, you'll be looking at a £499.99 price tag and for the OEM Core i7-10700K, it will be £398.99.

OCUK is also offering ‘8Pack Approved' bundles using the new CPUs, which come pre-overclocked at up to 5.2GHz which you can see HERE. Lastly, for anyone looking for a quick and easy way to get hands-on with a 10th Gen processor, OCUK's pre-built gaming machines are available to configure HERE.
