This week, Corsair is announcing its own support for the upcoming Intel LGA 1700 socket, which will launch in a couple of weeks alongside Intel Alder Lake processors. While other cooler manufacturers are offering free mounting upgrade kits to customers, Corsair users will have to pay a small fee to make their cooler ‘Alder Lake ready'.
Today, Corsair announced the Intel LGA 1700 Retrofit Kit, which is compatible with the Elite Capellix, RGB Pro XT and H100x AIO coolers, as well as a few others. The Retrofit Kit contains everything you'll need to mount your cooler on the new socket, but if you've misplaced the mounting hardware that came with your cooler, you can also pick up a complete mounting kit.

While a lot of other cooler manufacturers are offering free LGA 1700 upgrade kits for their coolers, Corsair is selling its kit instead. The Corsair LGA 1700 Retrofit kit will be available for £1.99, with free shipping inside of Europe and the United States, while full mounting kits will cost $14.99.
Moving forward, all future Corsair CPU coolers will ship with LGA 1700 mounting hardware in the box.
