Asus Z690 motherboards get Raptor Lake support in new BIOS update

Recently, ASRock released new BIOS updates to support upcoming Intel “Raptor Lake” desktop processors on 600 series motherboards. Now, Asus has confirmed plans to do the same, with most Z690 motherboards getting the update. 

The BIOS updates will be available to download through Asus's website, or you can use the company's BIOS Flashback and EZ Flash tools to install the update.

While ASRock supports the latest Intel CPUs on Z690, H670, B660 and H610 motherboards, Asus is only bringing the update to its Z690 boards for the time being. If that changes, we'll be sure to update.
