Intel Xeon “Sapphire Rapids” CPU line-up and specs leak

Intel's new generation of workstation Xeon processors are almost here. The Sapphire Rapids CPU line-up has now leaked, as well as specifications, giving us a look at core counts, clock speeds, cache and TDP.

As reported by VideoCardz, Intel's new Xeon processors will pack up to 56 cores, 112 threads, and 105MB of cache, and feature up to 350W TDP. Like the Core series, these Xeon Sapphire Rapids-WS will be divided into multiple segments. These include the W9 chips at the high-end, followed by W7 and W5. According to the leak, the highest clocked processors will operate at 3.2GHz.

The following table details the leaked specifications of each Intel Xeon Sapphire Rapids-WS CPU:

CPU Cores/Threads CPU Clock Cache TDP
Xeon W9-3495X 56C/112T 1.9GHz 105MB 350W
Xeon W9-3475X 36C/72T 2.2GHz 82.5MB 300W
Xeon W7-3465X 28C/56T 2.5GHz 75MB 300W
Xeon W7-3455 24C/48T 2.5GHz 67.5MB 270W
Xeon W7-3445 20C/40T 2.6GHz 52.5MB 270W
Xeon W5-3435X 16C/32T 3.1GHz 45MB 270W
Xeon W5-3433 16C/32T 2.0GHz 45MB 220W
Xeon W5-3425 12C/24T 3.2GHz 30MB 270W
Xeon W5-3423 12C/24T 2.1GHz 30MB 220W

The latest rumours claim these chips will support DDR5-4800 across eight channels and PCIe 5.0 (112 lanes). Unfortunately, we still don't know when Intel will release these CPUs.
