Intel is discontinuing boxed 13th Gen Core K-series processors

Intel has started its product discontinuance program for 13th Gen Core K-series processors. Only the boxed versions are included in the discontinuance program, meaning tray versions should still be readily available.

The process started on March 21st. Orders for boxed variants of the 13th Gen Core K-series processors will only be accepted until May 24th, and the last processors will be shipped to customers on June 28th. Although Intel won't be shipping any more 13th Gen Core boxed CPUs from June 28th and onwards, the existing stock of these CPUs won't disappear immediately.

The following table shows all the products affected by the product discontinuance issued by Intel:

Intel is now focusing on its 14th Generation Core series, but these will soon be succeeded by the Core Ultra 200 series (Arrow Lake), which should arrive later this year or early next year.

KitGuru says: Although the boxed variants are the only ones being discontinued, tray versions should follow a similar fate soon.
