Gigabyte motherboard CPU support list includes unannounced Ryzen 7 5700 CPU

Gigabyte might have revealed an unannounced Ryzen processor. According to the CPU support list for the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Extreme motherboard, a new Ryzen 7 5700 CPU might be on the way. 

In the X570 Aorus Extreme's CPU support list (via VideoCardz), Gigabyte also shared the core specs of the unreleased AM4 processor. Much like the 5700G and 5700GE SKUs, the Ryzen 7 5700 is based on the Cezanne architecture and has the same core configuration. The Ryzen 7 5700 features 8 cores and 16 threads, with a base clock of 3.7 GHz and a boost clock of up to 4.6 GHz, 100 MHz lower than the 5700G. The CPU has 4MB of L2 cache and 16MB of L3 cache, the same as the Ryzen 7 5700G and 5700GE. The most significant distinction between the G and GE chips and the non-lettered model is the absence of integrated Vega GCN GPU support.

Gigabyte lists the CPU as A0 stepping and states that it has a 65W TDP, matching the TDP of all Ryzen 5000G series CPUs. While this specific SKU has not been found on other motherboard manufacturer websites, it's not uncommon for new SKUs to appear on motherboard CPU support lists.

Although AMD has yet to officially reveal it to the public, we presume this is an OEM-exclusive product for pre-built systems. In fact, there are already a few systems using this CPU, like the one found on I-Latina.

KitGuru says: The AMD Ryzen 7 5700 may not bring anything to the table, but for entry-level pre-built systems, it looks like a decent enough solution.
