Temperatures
All temperature charts are sorted with lowest load temperatures at the top.
Starting with our 4GHz testing, the Eisbaer Extreme sits middle of the pack. It's only 2.4 degrees behind the H100i Platinum, however, so it's clearly not a big difference.
At 4.5GHz, things start to pick up and the Eisbaer Extreme moves into 2nd place, just behind the Corsair H100i Platinum RGB. Idle temperatures at 4.5GHz are also good, coming in at 8.6 degrees.
At 5GHz, however, the Alphacool Eisbaer Extreme performs exceptionally well, with the lowest peak temperature we have seen from our i7-7700K, at just 61.8 degrees.
Noise levels
Noise levels are also pretty remarkable. Even under full load, at 5GHz, the Eisbaer is still one of the quietest coolers tested, peaking at 44.1dBa.
