Noctua launches improves low-profile CPU cooler for high-end SFF PCs

Noctua is back with its latest ultra-quiet CPU cooler. The new NH-L12Sx77 is a low-profile CPU cooler for powerful compact builds. It is a slightly taller variant of the pre-existing NH-L12S, which has been well received. The advantage of this taller version includes improved motherboard and RAM compatibility.

With 6 instead of 4 heatpipes, the NH-L12Sx77 offers more headroom for higher heat-loads compared to the original NH-L12S. This makes it more suited to high-end CPUs, even in compact cases. The cooler's taller heatsink also leaves more clearance for RAM and offers improved compatibility with motherboard heatsinks and shrouds.

Like the regular NH-L12S, the NH-L12Sx77 has its fan preinstalled underneath the fin stack blowing upwards, which is ideal in compact cases that typically have a perforated panel right above the cooler, like the Fractal Design Terra, or the SilverStone Milo ML12, or even the Louge RAW S1.

The Noctua NH-L12Sx77 will be available for $74.90. Here in the UK, it can be found for £72 on Amazon.
