EK unveils sneak preview of new liquid cooling gear ahead of Strictly Quantum event

Computex 2022 is only just in the rear-view mirror but EK still has more to show. Tomorrow, EK will be hosting its “Strictly Quantum” show to announce the latest liquid cooling gear, but we have a sneak preview to share with you today.

For starters, one of the main stars of the show will be the new EK-Quantum Velocity2 Kinetic DDC 4.2, which integrates a DDC 4.2 pump into a CPU water block. The water block combo comes with a nickel-plated brass top, an acrylic piece that carries the cooling engine components and handles all the coolant distribution inside the water block, and an acetal piece that has four connection ports.

The sample in the preview images above is made for AM4 socket motherboards, and will also be made compatible with AM5. The LGA1700 Socket version will also be coming soon.

EK also has new double-rotary offset fittings on the way in 21mm and 28mm variants. Both will be available in all the finishings EK offers, including Nickel, Black Nickel, Black, Satin Titanium and Gold. These new fittings will be particularly important for those looking to build a loop with a distro plate, as you can align ports on the GPU water block with the distro plate using a single fitting, instead of combining angled fittings and extenders.

EK will have much more to show off during the Strictly Quantum event tomorrow at 6PM BST. You'll be able to watch it live on EK's YouTube channel.
