Arctic has introduced the Freezer 36‑S, a lower‑cost variant of the Freezer 36 designed to deliver similar cooling performance with a simplified single‑fan layout. The cooler uses four direct‑touch heat pipes, a 120mm P12 Pro fan and supports Intel LGA1851/1700 and AMD AM5/AM4 sockets.
The Freezer 36‑S replaces the dual‑fan setup of the standard Freezer 36 with a single P12 Pro fan mounted via wire clips to reduce cost while maintaining strong airflow and static pressure. The fan uses precise balancing, an advanced bearing system and PWM speed control to keep vibration and noise levels low. The cooler ships with MX‑7 thermal paste and uses ARCTIC’s updated mounting system, including an Intel contact frame for improved pressure consistency. The cooler stands at 158mm tall, ensuring broad case compatibility.
The series is available in black or white, with optional A‑RGB models. ARCTIC lists the following pricing during its anniversary promotion through the Arctic webshop:
- Freezer 36‑S – €17.39
- Freezer 36‑S (Black) – €19.49
- Freezer 36‑S A‑RGB (Black) – €21.89
- Freezer 36‑S A‑RGB (White) – €22.49
The Freezer 36‑S is also available on Amazon and through other retailers.
