TeamGroup’s AIO liquid cooler for SSDs is nearing launch

Back at Computex this summer, we had a sneak peek at TeamGroup's latest T-Force AIO liquid cooler, designed for use with PCIe 5.0 SSDs. Now, the Siren GD120S AIO SSD cooler is nearing launch, promising to keep your speedy SSD far below the thermal throttling point under load.

When under high load, PCIe 5.0 SSDs tend to run quite hot. More often than not, you'll be using passive cooling to keep these SSDs in check but TeamGroup has a potentially more performant option on the way. The T-Force Siren GD120S AIO SSD offers a 120mm AIO liquid cooler for your SSD, which will help prolong lifespan and keep the drive from thermal throttling. According to the company, this AIO cooler should keep PCIe 5.0 SSDs under 54°C, well below the thermal throttling point.

The cooler features a dual-tube water block made of aluminium alloy with double-layered thermal pads, which enables the SSD controller chip and IC to be securely attached to the copper cooler foundation. In addition, the pump also has three silent motors and a ceramic shaft construction to ensure a quiet and steady operation.

To efficiently reduce the high temperatures produced by M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSDs, the T-Force Siren GD120S AIO SSD cooler has a 120mm radiator with 13 high-density aluminium fins to expand the cooling surface, as well as a 12cm ARGB PWM fan. The cooler should be available in December 2023.

KitGuru says: Would you opt for an AIO cooler for a PCIe 5.0 SSD or does a silent heatsink do the job for you?
