Scythe to launch Fuma 3 dual-tower CPU cooler in late July

Scythe has announced the release of the successor to the award-winning Fuma 2 CPU cooler. The Fuma 3 dual-tower CPU cooler builds upon the design of its predecessors with some optimisations, including a redesigned heatsink capable of dissipating more heat.

Standing at 154mm tall, the Fuma 3 is a high-performance CPU air cooler equipped with six nickel-plated heat pipes measuring 6mm in diameter. These heat pipes work in conjunction with a premium aluminium heatsink with an increased fin density array and a new asymmetrical design, resulting in improved thermal conductivity and enhanced cooling performance. Additionally, this design ensures better compatibility, even with Mini-ITX motherboards.

The advanced asymmetrical engineering incorporates a lifted offset design, allowing the Fuma 3 to fully access the RAM slot in the front bank without overhanging the VRM heatsink in the rear. This improvement means that the Fuma 3 offers more compatibility than most dual-tower CPU coolers.

Featuring Scythe's Kaze Flex II 120mm PWM fans, the Fuma 3 employs contra-rotational fans that offer excellent cooling performance while maintaining a moderate rotational speed range of 300–1500 RPM. This configuration caters to users seeking a balance between efficient cooling performance and a low-noise experience.

The Fuma 3 utilises Scythe's H.P.M.S. V (Hyper Precision Mounting System Version 5), the company's fifth-generation spring-loaded mounting system. This system ensures secure and optimal contact pressure on the CPUs, and it now supports full AM5 and Intel LGA 1700 compatibility. The Fuma 3 is now officially available in Southeast Asia and is available to pre-order in the US. US availability is expected to begin around 20th July.
