It's starting to look like every CPU cooler manufacturer will be offering Intel LGA1700 mounting kits for those upgrading to an Alder Lake-S processor. This week, be quiet! and Phanteks joined the growing list. 

With the increase in the size of the Intel LGA1700 socket, cooler manufacturers had to create new mounting brackets to support the upcoming processors. If you are upgrading to Intel 12th Gen, then in most cases, all you'll need to do is provide proof of purchase and you'll get new mounting hardware sent out to you at no charge.

 

On the Phanteks side, all Glacier One AIO liquid coolers are eligible for the mounting kit upgrade. The list is significantly longer for be quiet! with supported coolers including:

• Dark Rock Pro 4
• Dark Rock 4
• Dark Rock Slim
• Dark Rock TF 2
• Shadow Rock 3
• Shadow Rock Slim 2
• Shadow Rock LP
• Pure Rock 2
• Pure Rock
• Silent Loop 2 (not available in the USA)
• Pure Loop

Both companies stated they will start shipping the kits in November. In the future, Phanteks and be quiet! coolers will include all the accessories to mount the cooler on Intel LGA1700 sockets.
