DeepCool shares more about the Assassin IV dual-tower CPU cooler

DeepCool's latest offering, the Assassin IV Dual Tower CPU cooler, was unveiled earlier this year at CES 2023. The cooler's striking design has caught the attention of many hardware enthusiasts, including us. Since then, DeepCool has been quiet, but that is finally changing with new information coming out this week.

As noted by Wccftech, DeepCool Korea has released press material and product images, suggesting this massive dual-tower CPU cooler is almost ready for launch. Early impressions suggest that enthusiasts will like the Assassin IV's minimalistic, all-black aesthetic.

DeepCool claims the Assassin IV CPU cooler can handle up to 280W. The flagship CPU cooler has a heatsink with seven heat pipes cooled by a 120mm and a 140mm fan (both powered by a single 4-pin power connector). The fans are designed to operate between 500 and 1700 RPM, with an airflow delivery of 79.1/58.06 CFM in performance mode and 63.76/46.75 CFM in quiet mode. Rated with a noise level of 29.3 dB(A) peak performance and ≤ 22.6 dB(A) noise in silent mode, you shouldn't hear much of it even while gaming. In performance mode, power consumption is expected to be about 2.88 W.

The Assassin IV's total weight is 1.575 KG, with overall unit dimensions of 144x147x164 mm, with the heatsink alone measuring 140x110x160 mm. It's also worth noting that the fans can be re-positioned, allowing for extra clearance above RAM DIMMs and other motherboard attachments that may interfere with the cooler. The cooler is compatible with Intel LGA1700/1200/115x & LGA20xx and AMD AM4 & AM5 sockets. Availability and pricing for Western markets are still to be determined.
