Corsair debuts iCUE Link LX RGB reverse fans

Corsair is expanding its cooling fan lineup with its new LX-R RGB series fans, which bring a reverse flow design to its high-performance LX RGB lineup. These stylish and efficient fans are perfect for showcasing your system's lighting without sacrificing cooling performance.

Designed with community feedback in mind, the LX-R series addresses a common issue with traditional fans: obstructed lighting. By reversing the fan frame, the LX-R fans ensure that the fan motor and support arms don't block the RGB illumination.

Available in 120mm and 140mm sizes and black or white finishes, the LX-R RGB fans blend into any build. Each fan has 18 ARGB LEDs split between inner and outer light loops to create various visual effects. With Corsair's iCue software, you can customise lighting, synchronise with games, and even use the iCue Link-exclusive Time Warp mode. The daisy-chainable design simplifies cable management, requiring only one cable for every 12 fans.

These fans are engineered for optimal cooling performance, delivering high airflow and static pressure, making them ideal for case and radiator installations. Corsair's magnetic dome bearing technology ensures smooth and quiet operation, minimising noise even at high speeds. The 140mm LX-R RGB fans spin up to 2,000 RPM, pushing up to 90.6 CFM of airflow with a static pressure of 4.1 mm H₂O. The 120mm variants reach an even higher 2,400 RPM, delivering up to 66.7 CFM and 4.72 mm H₂O of static pressure. Both sizes feature a 25mm thickness and Corsair's QuikTurn screws for easy installation.

As part of the iCUE LINK ecosystem, the LX-R fans are available in multi-pack kits that include everything you need to get started. These kits bundle three 120mm fans (or two 140mm fans), cables, and an iCue Link System Hub capable of controlling up to 24 iCue Link devices. Single-fan expansion kits will also be available for those upgrading their existing setup. Single fans start at £34.99/€39.90/$39.99, the triple pack (120mm) at £114.99/€134.90/$129.99, and the dual pack (140mm) at £89.99/€109.90/$109.99.
