Asus refreshes ROG Ryujin III AIO coolers with magnetic fans, a better pump and a bigger radiator

ASUS has announced six new all-in-one CPU coolers in its Republic of Gamers (ROG) Ryujin III series. These coolers come equipped with the latest 8th gen Asetek pump, an embedded pump fan, and either a 240mm or 360mm radiator. Additionally, three style options allow builders to choose a cooler that fits their aesthetic, while the 3.5-inch customisable LCD can be used to display custom images.

ROG has launched four new ARGB variants of the Ryujin III AIO cooler. For those who prefer classic black, there's the ROG Ryujin III 240 ARGB and the Ryujin III 360 ARGB. On the other hand, builders who love the white finish can opt for the Ryujin III 240 ARGB White Edition and the Ryujin III 360 ARGB White Edition. All four models feature ROG MF-12S ARGB magnetic fans that can be daisy-chained to reduce cable clutter and easily configure the ARGB lighting effects.

Those who prefer a cooling solution without RGB LED lighting can also choose the all-black ROG Ryujin III 240 and Ryujin III 360 CPU coolers equipped with Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 2000 fans. The fans operate at a quiet 29.7 dBA, balancing airflow and low noise output.

Besides the new fans, ROG also changed the pumps of the Ryujin III AIO coolers with an 8th gen Asetek model, featuring a 3-phase motor capable of higher flow rates at lower impedance while operating more quietly. The pump's rubber tube diameter has been increased by 40% to improve flow, and the square cold plate is 32% larger than the previous generation. Radiator capacity was also increased by 42%. All these changes resulted in a 2ºC drop in CPU temperatures compared to the previous model (tested at 100W load).

Users can further personalise their builds with the 3.5-inch LCD display atop the pump housing. The display now has 32MB of capacity for content, enabling users to create custom artwork, animations, logos, or images to match their builds. Additionally, the ROG Ryujin III can be used for real-time hardware monitoring with the Armoury Crate app. The ROG Ryujin III AIO coolers offer broad compatibility with AMD or Intel machines, including AM5, LGA 1700, LGA 115X, and LGA 1200 sockets.
