Thermaltake SWAFAN EX Showcase Build

It’s that time again when we team up with Thermaltake for another sponsored showcase build. Thermaltake recently launched its updated SWAFAN EX fans so this is the perfect opportunity to take a look at those while building a pretty amazing spec system. We have a bunch of Thermaltake goodies, an Intel Core i9-13900KS CPU and a Gigabyte RTX 4090 Aero amongst other top-tier hardware, so let’s see what we can come up with.

Features:

  • Available in 120mm and 140 sizes and black or white colour schemes to match any system style.
  • Magnetic force design is used to quickly connect up to three fans with just a single cable connection for improved cable management.
  • Swappable fan blades that simply pop out and press back in place. Forward and reverse fan blades are included with each fan for instant push or pull configuration without rotating the fan frame.
  • Easy maintenance and cleaning of fans due to the removable blade design.
  • Fan design provides optimal cooling performance under various conditions such as the installation on thick radiators or chassis ventilation panels.

System Build Specification:

Thermaltake sent a bunch of other hardware to complement the white and silver build theme including a Ceres 500 TG ARGB Snow chassis and TH420 ARGB Sync Snow edition AIO CPU cooler. The fans from the cooler were replaced with SWAFAN EX 14 white fans while the stock case fans were all replaced with EX 14 fans too. The plan was to steer away from the usual gaming builds that we show on the channel and build something geared towards content creators and professional use.

All these white Thermaltake goodies, coupled with the Gigabyte Z790 Aero G motherboard and RTX 4090 Aero OC graphics card created an amazing-looking build. In keeping with the subtle professional tone, system lighting was set to a static white using the TT RGB Plus 2.0 Software which looked amazing. But to not disappoint the RGB enthusiasts we had a sneak peek at how the system would look in full Rainbow RGB glory, and it was spectacular.

Thermaltake SWAFAN EX 12/14 fan 3 packs are available to purchase now from Scan.co.uk. Prices start from £99.98 for black 120mm versions, 120mm and 140mm white 3 packs are priced at £119.99 HERE.

KitGuru says: It was a welcome change to build something other than an all-out gaming PC. The subtle white and silver tones gave the system an extremely clean look, fit for any modern home office style. With single-tone lighting or RGB effects it looks absolutely stunning!
