Performance and Comparisons
The Corsair H115i RGB PRO XT starts off well in our testing. With the Intel Core i9-9900K set to an all-core frequency of 3.6Ghz and at 100% load, the H115i RGB PRO XT easily keeps the CPU temperature under control and takes 6th spot overall in our charts, which is a valiant effort as it faced some tough competition.
With the Intel Core i9-9900K set at our initial overclocked frequency of 4.7GHz across all cores, the Corsair H155i RGB PRO XT thermal performance actually improves compared to other coolers we have tested. An average CPU temperature of 45.1°C under load is up there with some of the best coolers we have tested on our bench.
During our final thermal performance test with the Intel Core i9-9900K locked at 4.9GHz across all cores, the Corsair H115i RGB PRO XT continues its excellent thermal performance and holds on to third place in our chart, which is an excellent achievement.
One of the main factors why the Corsair H115i RGB PRO XT performs so well is the 2000RPM speed at which the ML140 fans operate at full load. However, this does contribute to high noise levels which could prove to be quite distracting for some users. The H115i RGB PRO XT is one of the loudest coolers we have tested.
