AIO Head To Head With Corsair and Cooler Master

Corsair iCUE Link Titan 360 RX RGB $199.99/£179.99 MSRP, pre-Order now from OverclockersUK HERE.

Out of the two coolers on test today, the Corsair iCUE Link Titan 360 RX RGB comes out on top, just. It has excellent thermal performance, a relatively easy installation and the new iCUE Link cable system cleans up cable mess very well. There are cheaper 360mm AIOs out there that perform as well but Corsair enthusiasts will be no doubt happy to splash out a little more on this for the seamless integration with iCUE Link and iCUE software, and now the performance is up there with the best on the market too.

  • Perfect integration with the iCUE Link ecosystem.
  • No cable clutter around the CPU block.
  • Excellent thermal performance.

Cons:

  • Quite expensive for a non-LCD AIO.
  • Totally reliant on iCUE for fan/pump speed control.
  • Requires PCIe power.
Rating: 9.

Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 ION – $249.99 MSRP, available in the UK from 14th August 2024 with an MSRP of £249.99.

The Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 ION comes a very close second with its top-notch thermal performance, high build quality and great-looking LCD screen. It might be a bit more expensive than some LCD-clad coolers but Cooler Master seems to have cracked the software which worked seamlessly during our test, that can't be said for some other LCD coolers from rival vendors but it's a high price to pay especially at the UK MSRP of £249.99. The only letdown with the 360 ION is the mess of cables around the CPU block, as Corsair has shown with iCUE Link, this can look much better these days.

Pros:

  • Very High-quality feel.
  • Attractive LCD screen.
  • Top-notch thermal performance.

Cons:

  • Lots of wiring at the CPU block.
  • USB cable can be short depending on CPU block orientation.
  • No interconnecting fans.
  • Quite expensive.
Rating: 8.5.

KitGuru says: Both Corsair and Cooler Master have done a great job with these new AIOs. Yes, they might be priced on the high side but with both you get good build quality, easy-to-use software and long warranties, plus both of them look great but the Corsair Titan RX just edges it for me.
