FSP Windale 4 Cooler Review

The Windale 4 is the second air cooler we have seen from renowned power supply manufacturer FSP.

The smaller brother of the the Windale 6, it looks pretty conventional and I am sure many people would draw similarities between this cooler and the legendary Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.

It is quite easy to install, too, using the classic rail-mounting method.

Its performance is pretty much what we would expect from a cooler of this size – it is quite average, but is definitely better some than other budget options we have seen previously.

In terms of its noise levels, it is nice and quiet even under load. Of course, you can hear it, but FSP's fan is relatively slow-spinning so it definitely one of the quieter budget coolers available.

As such, the FSP Windale 4 wins another recommendation. The Cryorig H7 is still the sub-£40 king, but this cooler offers good performance for a low cost making it a solid buy for users on a budget.

It is not currently available in the UK but its MSRP is $32.99 so expect pricing to be similar.

KitGuru says: While it may be unspectacular, the FSP Windale 4 is a good buy for users on a budget.
