FSP Windale 4 Cooler Review

The FSP Windale 4 ships in a box that is almost identical to its bigger brother, the Windale 6, so it is quite dark and compact.

The manual is also very similar, which is no bad thing, as its diagrams are clear and the written instructions are also helpful.

Inside, the installation hardware comes in two separate bags, but they are not labelled.

The 120mm fan is functionally identical to the Windale 6's fan, too, but the only difference is that this unit does not have blue LEDs.

It is when comparing the heatsinks that we see the biggest differences. The Windale 4 is still made of aluminium, but the aluminium has not been covered with black plating. It also features four copper heatpipes, instead of 6.

Lastly, it is obviously a bit smaller, measuring in at (LxWxH) 122 x 83 x 158mm).
