Cooler Master has been playing catch-up this past month, updating many of its products to include the much-hyped feature of RGB lighting. This time, the company has implemented the lighting solution into its all-in-one liquid coolers, adding the MasterLiquid ML240L and the ML120L to its roster.
This has been a trend of Cooler Master recently, introducing brand new MasterAir coolers and its very first RGB mousepad. The selection of MasterLiquid coolers is another first for the company, both being designed in-house from the ground up.
Both feature low-profile dual-chamber RGB pumps with users making use of the new lighting via a lighting controller. Each touts six built-in lighting effects that are compatible with RGB motherboards from various brands including Asus, ASRockm, Gigabyte and MSI, allowing for synchronisation of your system’s illumination.
Each model comes with Cooler Master’s MasterFan MF120R, with the larger ML240L MasterLiquid sporting two side-by-side and the smaller ML120L utilising a single one. The fans have a 9-blade design that the company claims enable a better flow rate and heat exchange efficiency.
There’s little need to worry about motherboard compatibility, as both MasterLiquid coolers support most sockets out there from Intel and AMD.
Cooler Master prices the MasterLiquid ML240L at $70, while the ML120L will cost $60. Both are available for pre-order in the US from select retailers, and this price may vary.
KitGuru Says: I have kept an eye on the RGB scene for a while and while my system is by no means fully converted, I have noticed that much of it has slowly been replaced for RGB parts without me even realising at the time. How much of your system is RGB?
