CoolerMaster unleash new HAF X chassis

CoolerMaster have just released another case in their popular HAF series, the HAF X. This sexy looking chassis is targeting a slightly different market however, aimed at overclocking gaming enthusiasts. Ultimate performance is clearly the focus point.

The chassis measures 230x550x590mm and weighs a back breaking 14.36kg – which is due to the steel construction. It is finished in all black, both outside and inside and is a tool free design featuring a new special cable management system with pre drilled holes for watercooling systems. There are also four fans supplied with the system with the one at the front having red LED accents, to give the primary black design a menacing edge. All the fans are huge ( from 140mm at rear, 2x 200mm top and 230mm front) which we like to see, as  they can spin slower, pushing huge CFM without creating a racket.

Inside are six 5.25 inch drive bays and above these on the front there is a fully loaded panel with USB 2.0, USB 3, firewire, audio ports and eSATA connectivity. It looks very nice!

KitGuru says: We can see this becoming a real favourite with gamers this year.

  1. I loved the previous HAF cases and I like the attention to detail and use of large fans in this one. Should be great
