Antec SOLO II Chassis Review

After spending around 45 minutes installing our system into the Antec SOLO II we were left with positive impressions.

The case is easy to work with, although with the Antec Kuhler 920 installed there isn't much space at the back.

We did have to move the Antec TrueQuiet fan due to using the Antec Kuhler 920. This didn't cause a problem, although it did mean we had to remove the fan speed switch from the back of the case.

We didn't spend a lot of time trying to route cables, although the case offers a few cutouts to aid with the build phase.

  1. I still have the first version, it was a solid case, but it had some flaws. this one seems better

  2. I bought a case with a piano finish and I honestly will never go back, it looks great at the start, but you spend a lot of time keeping it clean and free from marks and dust. If you have a young kid in the house, never even contemplate one of these.

  3. An innocuous looking review whith a hidden secret: It’s a clever idea to move the stock fan in front and to use the CPU cooler fan to push air directly outside the case instead of against a rear fan.

    Thanks!.
