Streacom’s new DA6 and DA6 XL open-frame cases now available in UK

Streacom is known for its unique case designs. That trend continues with the new DA6 series, based on the company's DB4 cases. The new series consists of two open-frame, vertical SFF cases – the DA6 and the taller DA6 XL. After recently launching during Computex, these cases are now landing in the UK.

The two cases are very similar in shape and features. Both have a structure made of 19mm stainless steel tubes (chrome or black) that bend on the chassis corners to create the handles and feet. In total, the DA6 offers just under 20L of volume including the feet and handles. The XL version takes this a step further with 21.5L volume.

Both cases support mini-ITX motherboards, CPU coolers up to 105mm tall, up to 140mm fans and up to 280mm liquid cooling radiators. You shouldn't have to worry about fitting your GPU in, as the case supports up to 323mm long graphics cards in the standard version, and 358mm long graphics cards in the XL version.

As far as storage goes, there is enough space for between 5 and 9 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives. There will be certain limitations based on configuration, as with any universal case with multiple mounting options. The DA6 features several module points, two on top and one on the bottom of the case. These modules include options for power, USB connectivity and even a biometric module with support for Windows Hello.

The Streacom DA6 and DA6 XL will be available in the UK soon. Pre-orders are now live at Overclockers UK, priced at £124.99 and £134.99 respectively.
