The Fractal North case has gone on to become widely popular amongst PC builders. Now, Fractal Design is bringing the same stylish chassis to those with Reverse Connector motherboards.
The new Fractal North XL RC is designed with Reverse Connector Motherboards in mind. On these motherboards, all of the power connectors are moved to the backside of the motherboard, requiring a different motherboard tray design in the case to fully support. The main benefit to this type of motherboard is the ability to route far fewer cables to the front of the case, allowing for an extremely clean look.
There are just a few motherboards on the market currently that support the Reverse Connector design, including MSI's Project Zero, the Gigabyte Stealth and Asus BtF.
As with other North XL cases, the RC version fuses design materials with airflow engineering, to make performance gaming a stylish addition to the living space. All versions support 420mm front-mounted radiators, 360mm top-mounted radiators, and graphics cards up to 413mm in length.
