Computex 2024: Leo checks out Silverstone’s 2500W PSU and new cases

Each year at Computex Leo is on the lookout for the most interesting PC cases for enthusiast builders. Today at Computex we had the chance to get a closer look at Silverstone's latest cases, coolers and fans, as well as a new 2.5KW power supply…

Silverstone is breaking into the workstation market as the AI market begins to boom. The Alta T1 in particular is a large chassis with a slidable motherboard tray to make hardware installation and removal easier. The CS383 also has an industrial design, with room for lots of drives, high-end graphics cards and AIO liquid cooling for the CPU.

On the Power Supply front the star here is the HELA 2500R Platinum. This will be an expensive unit but for that money, you get Platinum-rated efficiency, support for the latest standards and 2500W worth of power. Silverstone also has a range of lower wattage PSUs for the mainstream PC building audience and gamers.

The Seta A2 is perfect for a gaming chassis thanks to its large window and space for fans and large graphics cards. However, there is also an optional drive cage that can be put in to turn it into a workstation case. The Seta C2 has a similar function, with mesh intakes for cooling and lots of drive bays.

Silverstone also has lots of RGB AIO coolers and fans, although some of these are aimed at system integrators, rather than the DIY market.

KitGuru Says: We will no doubt be reviewing some of Silverstone's new cases, so stay tuned for more.
