Thermaltake introduces CTE E550 TG mid-tower PC case with panoramic viewing

Thermaltake has unveiled the latest addition to its CTE series, the E550 TG mid-tower chassis. This new PC case has three tempered glass panels, offering users an expansive view to showcase their PC builds. It is designed to support the latest hidden-connector motherboards and features a three-way GPU installation option. Available in black, white, green, and light brown, users can choose the ideal colour to complement their PC setup.

The CTE E550 TG features a panoramic design with tempered glass panels on the front, back, and left side, providing a wide field of view akin to an open-frame chassis. It excels in cable management by routing cables to the rear side for a cleaner, more organised appearance. It is compatible with standard and the new hidden-connector motherboards, including Asus BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth.

The CTE E550 TG offers three GPU installation options, allowing users to position the GPU according to their preferences. This includes a floating GPU setup at the centre of the chassis with the integrated GPU bracket and a 400mm-long PCI-e 4.0 riser cable that can be acquired separately. Users can also hang the GPU vertically in an up-right configuration facing the left side panel or the rear panel.

Regarding hardware compatibility, the CTE E550 TG is designed to offer excellent support for a wide variety of components. It supports up to 420mm custom liquid radiators on the bottom and M/B sides, 420mm/360mm AIO radiators on the M/B side, an air cooler with a maximum height of 166mm, and up to eight 120mm or six 140mm fans.

Furthermore, the chassis features a spacious right chamber with plenty of room and anchor points, simplifying cable management with the Velcro straps and cable ties provided. The detachable filters on the chassis' top, bottom, and right sides offer dust protection for components and are easily removed for cleaning. The CTE E550 TG mid-tower chassis is now available in all four colour versions.
