Lian and PCMR team up for O11 Vision Compact case

Lian Li and the team at PCMR have teamed up on a new version of the popular O11 case. The new O11 Vision Compact arrives priced at £115, offering the same the distinctive 3-sided tempered glass design as larger O11 cases, but with smaller dimensions. To make up for the smaller frame, additional mesh panels are placed to improve airflow.

The O11 Vision Compact is designed to support back-connect ATX motherboards, owing to its fixed motherboard tray and more compact form. It features a passthrough channel for the tubing of side-mounted AIO radiators and a passthrough grommet for the pump. Furthermore, it has a rear passthrough for an internal display that can be installed atop the motherboard.

In addition to the top glass configuration, the O11 Vision Compact now provides a top mesh option for improved ventilation. However, the default configuration still offers the same clear view as the original, featuring tempered glass panels on the top, front, and left sides. The innovative magnetic mounting key in the top left corner secures the mesh configuration top bracket to the front glass and supports the three glass panels (up to 35 kg). Additionally, it comes with a pre-installed GPU anti-sag support bracket that can be easily adjusted in height to maintain the horizontal position of heavy graphics cards.

The detachable bottom and side brackets (reversible) are intakes by default, each supporting 3x 120 mm fans or a 360 mm AIO. As an exhaust, the back panel can accommodate 2x 120 mm fans. In the top mesh panel arrangement, the top bracket supports 2x 140 mm fans, 3x 120 mm fans, or a 360 mm AIO. The O11 Vision Compact can accommodate large components, including E-ATX motherboards (up to 280 mm), 408 mm long GPUs, and CPU air coolers up to 167 mm tall. The second chamber can hold 4x 2.5-inch drives or 2x 2.5-inch drives and 2x 3.5-inch drives.

The second chamber features a magnetically locked cable cover, two detachable dual-layer cable clamps to secure PSU and fan wires, and six additional Velcro strips to manage cabling. Removing the twin HDD/SDD cages makes the region more accessible, freeing up space and facilitating back-connect cabling. The PSU bracket protrudes 15 mm to provide greater interior cable space while maintaining the O11 Vision's simple side slide-in design.

The O11 Vision Compact is now available, with both black and white versions available for £114.95/€129.90/$119.99 at Overclockers UK.

KitGuru says: Although it may look like just another O11 case, small details like the ability to choose between glass or mesh on the top, the 2x rear slots for 120 mm fans, and the special routing for side radiators are all nice additions, especially considering the pricing is pretty much the same.
