EK partners with InWin to launch the liquid cooling-ready 997EK PC case

EK has recently collaborated with InWin to launch its latest water-cooling-focused PC case, the EK-Quantum InWin 977EK. Crafted to cater to the needs of custom loop liquid cooling enthusiasts, the new 997EK PC case supports a variety of radiator sizes, fans and pumps to build your custom loop.

The EK-Quantum InWin 977EK boasts a single piece of 4mm-thick brushed aluminium for its exterior shell, which has been hand-twisted to resemble InWin's classic case design. The top and bottom of the case include detachable dust filters and radiator mounts that can be pushed out of the rear panel. It is also worth noting that users can reverse the motherboard by rotating the PSU mount and the motherboard tray and sliding them back to the opposite side of the case.

The motherboard tray of the EK-Quantum InWin 977EK can be slid out from the rear of the case, simplifying the PC assembly process. The PSU mount also doubles as a pump, reservoir, or combination unit mount, including tubular-style ones like the EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 300 and flat-style units like the EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT 240. Moreover, there's enough space for up to two 420mm radiators (up to 44mm thick) and various 120mm or 140mm fans.

The EK-Quantum InWin 977EK is a flexible and versatile PC case that supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and E-ATX motherboards up to 310mm wide. The maximum GPU width is 190mm, and the maximum GPU length is 330mm, allowing even the biggest GPUs to be placed horizontally. For PSUs, there's support for up to 285mm-long units. Additionally, a detachable hard drive mount on the rear of the motherboard tray supports 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives.

The 977EK has two prominent ridges around its base that function as feet, lifting it and giving firm support when put on a surface. The EK-Quantum InWin 977EK provides a spacious 32mm area to simplify cable management. Moreover, the rear of the motherboard tray has many slotted holes that may be used as tie-down points using zip ties or the provided reusable touch fastener. The capacitive Power-On button, shaped like the EK logo, is positioned on the front and is RGB-lit. Available in black and silver, the EK-Quantum InWin 977EK is now available for pre-order for €799.90.
